Finance & Leasing Association

The Finance & Leasing Association is a UK industry body that represents the asset finance, consumer finance and motor finance sectors.



Financial Ombudsman

The Financial Ombudsmen service set up by law to help settle individual disputes between consumers and financial firms.



Financial Services Authority

The FSA is the single statutory regulator responsible for regulating deposit taking, insurance and investment business. The FSA is also responsible for tackling market abuse and reducing financial crime.



Financial Services Compensation Scheme

The FSCS pays compensation to consumers if an authorised firm is unable to pay claims against it, usually because it has gone out of business. FSCS is funded by the industry and covers deposits, insurance and investments.



Financial Services Consumer Panel

Under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FSA is required to maintain a Consumer Panel. The Panel is an independent voice for consumers of financial services. It provides advice to the FSA on the interests and concerns of consumers.



Financial Services Skills Council

The Financial Services Skills Council is licensed by the Government to work in partnership with employers to provide strategic and responsible leadership for training, education and development for the industry in the UK.



HM Treasury

The Treasury is the Department of State responsible for formulating and putting into effect the UK Government's financial and economic policy.

International Compliance Association

The ICA is a professional organisation dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in compliance, anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention. Operating in the financial services sector, the ICA delivers accredited learning, developing and supporting professionals globally.



International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation

The International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation represents international insurers who operate on the basis of principles common to the co-operative movement and democratic mutuality.



International Union for Housing Finance

IUHF gathers and distributes information to improve the effectiveness of housing finance professionals, and the organisations they lead. The IUHF is a non-profit trade association that has members from 60 countries worldwide.



Investment Management Association

The Investment Management Association represents the UK asset management industry. The Association of Unit Trusts and Investment Funds (AUTIF) and Fund Managers Association (FMA) merged to form the IMA in February 2002.



LINK Interchange Network

LINK Interchange Network Ltd. is the transaction management company behind the LINK Cash Machine (ATM) Network. It is the organisation that services the ATM network by switching shared online transactions between the members of the network.
